Memory-Screen Clinics Start in February

The dementia-care specialist with the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Lakeshore will be holding free memory-screen clinics throughout Manitowoc and Kewaunee counties

A memory screen is a wellness tool used to help identify possible changes in memory and cognition, whether they are reversible or irreversible dementia symptoms. Early detection is instrumental in providing the best possible care for those who are diagnosed.

Screenings will be held Feb. 8, 12:30-3 pm, at the Kiel Stoelting House; Feb. 10, 9 am – 12 pm, at the Two Rivers Senior Center; Feb. 16, 12:30-3:30 pm, at the Algoma Public Library; Feb. 22, 9 am – 12 pm, at the Manitowoc Senior Center; and Feb. 23, 9 am – 12 pm, at the ADRC of the Lakeshore.

If these options are not convenient, call the ADRC of the Lakeshore at 1.877.416.7083 to make accommodations with the dementia-care specialist.
