‘Mendelssohn, Mozart and More!’ Kicks Off Midsummer’s Music Season

Midsummer’s Music will kick off its 2019 concerts with Mendelssohn, Mozart and More! on June 14. This year’s season – which runs through Sept. 2 and will conclude with the annual Labor Day benefit and program – will feature world-class musicians performing 41 concerts of chamber music for strings, piano and winds in distinctive settings, including art galleries, museums and historic venues.

Season highlights include Salon Concerts in four of Door County’s most elegant residences and two dinner concerts. New for 2019, concertgoers can experience wine-and-food pairings following three matinee concerts in Egg Harbor.

Midsummer’s Music will continue its partnerships with local arts organizations and collaborate again with Write On, Door County poets and Woodwalk Gallery visual artists who will create original pieces based on musical inspirations.

Tickets are $29 per adult, $10 per student and free for children 12 and younger. Premium prices apply for salon concerts, dinner concerts and other special events. Flex-packs of six or eight tickets are also available. To see a complete schedule and purchase tickets, visit midsummersmusic.com.
