Men’s Club Hosts Scholarship Dinner

The Ephraim Men’s Club is providing college scholarships to five June graduates of Gibraltar High School. Four-year awards go to Arianna Fearing, Nora Harris and Kylie Straub, while one-year awards go to Benjamin Anderson and Nicholas Kita. Scholarships are contingent on academic performance in college.

The club’s annual breakfast to raise scholarship money for Northern Door students is being held on Aug. 2, at the historic Ephraim Village Hall, 9996 Water Street. The breakfast runs from 7:30 to 11 am with door prizes given each half-hour.

“We’re hoping to exceed last year’s record of 517 attendees,” says breakfast chairman Jim Reeve. Pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee are on the menu. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under and are available at the door or from club members.
