Midsummer’s Music Celebrates 30 Years

John Nasukaluk Clare – of SiriusXM Symphony Hall fame and the general manager of Classic 107.3 in St. Louis – will be Midsummer’s Music’s special guest during its three Celebrating Our First 30 Years concerts. He will narrate John Harbison’s Four Encores for Stan and entertain concertgoers while hosting the lively Labor Day benefit concert.

The program will be performed Sept. 3, 7 pm, at the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor; and Sept. 4 at SWY231 in Sturgeon Bay. Patrons can attend the Labor Day fundraiser concert at Björklunden, 7590 Boynton Lane in Baileys Harbor, online or in person beginning at 3 pm. Enjoy wine and light snacks, the concert, and a paddle raiser with heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Clare will also headline the Sept. 4, 10 am, Coffee Talk – Midsummer’s Music’s free, informal presentations on music topics at the Kress Pavilion.

The suggestively titled, final Sex! (as in Six) all-sextets program will be performed Sept. 5, 4 pm, at Woodwalk Gallery, 6746 Cty G in Egg Harbor.

Tickets for all concerts except the Labor Day fundraiser are $30 per adult; Labor Day concert tickets start at $100. Order all tickets online at midsummersmusic.com or by phone at 920.854.7088.
