Midsummer’s Music Festival

Each summer a group of world-class musicians from organizations such as the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Pro Arte Quartet, Aspen Music Festival, and artist faculty from major universities, join together to form Midsummer’s Music Festival. The festival offers a series of 25 exquisite classical music concerts in a host of venues ranging from a 120-year-old lakeside warehouse to a quaint community church to a boathouse on a primitive island. Over the last 20 years the festival has grown from five concerts to 25.

This year’s festival continues through July 11 with a special Labor Day Series scheduled for September 1 – 6 that will culminate with a closing concert and gala event.

Most concerts are priced at $25, with home concerts priced at $50. The concert at T. Ashwell’s Restaurant is priced at $85 and includes a gourmet reception and dinner. All concerts include a reception and a chance to meet the musicians. For more information, call 920.854.7088 or visit http://www.midsummersmusic.com.
