Midsummer’s Music has named Seth Hanford to its new position of development director.
Prior to joining the organization, he was head of school and held other administrative and teaching positions at Elgin Academy. He has also worked in administrative, teaching, advising and coaching positions at other independent schools.
“I am so honored to join the Midsummer’s Music community at such an exciting time,” Hanford said. “This organization’s mission is inspiring, and its desire to enrich the experience of Wisconsin residents and Door County visitors through beautiful music is one I look forward to supporting.”
Hanford and his wife, Desiree, a professor at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, have visited the peninsula for more than two decades.
