Midsummer’s Music Offers Virtual Chamber Music

Midsummer’s Music will present a virtual season of chamber-music concerts for five weeks starting Aug. 5. Devoted fans and new enthusiasts can enjoy the free concerts performed by world-class musicians and streamed at midsummersmusic.com and on YouTube and Facebook. Radio personalities John Clare, Lisa Flynn, Norman Gilliland and Lori Skelton will serve as concert hosts.

Each of the five programs will be divided into two concerts of about 30 minutes each. The first part of a program will be broadcast Wednesdays at 7 pm and Fridays at 8 pm; the second part will be broadcast Thursdays at 7 pm and Saturdays at 8 pm. Both parts will be broadcast together Sundays at 3 pm, with additional content, including live interviews with the artists.
