Midsummer’s Music’s End-Of-Season Series Delights

Midsummer’s Music is ending its 2021 season with three powerful programs in 10 intense concerts that began Aug. 26.

The first program is Make No Small Plans: a concert featuring the work of Beethoven and Brahms, as well as the world premiere of Door County Concerto by Midsummer’s Music’s composer fellow Quinn Mason.

Next will be the Sex! (as in Six) program: an all-sextet concert (thus the suggestive title) of works by Strauss, Schoenberg and Beethoven.

The season’s final program, Celebrating Our First 30 Years!, will welcome John Clare from Symphony Hall on SiriusXM to narrate John Harbison’s Four Encores for Stan and entertain concertgoers as the host of the not-to-be-missed Labor Day fundraiser extravaganza.Tickets for all concerts except the Labor Day fundraiser are $30 per adult. Order them at midsummersmusic.com or by phone at 920.854.7088. Also order Labor Day benefit-concert tickets, starting at $100, online or by phone. All programs are subject to change.
