Midwest SunSplash Music Festival Announces Lineup

Come have fun in the sun on the new beach in Sister Bay at the newest music event, Midwest SunSplash Music Festival, Aug. 7 & 8. The new Sister Bay stage provides the waterfront backdrop for the line-up of nine bands, vendors of unique goods, and tasty food and beverages.

Camping is available Friday and Saturday nights for $10 per person on the south end of the Sister Bay Sports Complex (between the baseball field and cherry orchard). Tents and RVs will be separated. Potable water and toilet facilities provided; no other hook-ups, generators discouraged.

Natty Nation

Friday, the festival grounds open at 3 pm, and at 12 pm on Saturday. Tickets are $30 for two-day general admission and $10 per person for camping for two nights. Tickets are available online at midwestsunsplash.com, at the Sister Bay Visitor Center and at the Festival Gate on Mill Road the day of the event. Children 10 and under are free.

Bands and dates/times are: Friday at the Sister Bay Stage – Earth to Clark at 4 pm, WIFEE & THE HUZzBAND at 5:15 pm, Natty Nation at 7:15 pm, MJ Gang (at the Sister Bay Sports Complex for a campfire and acoustic jam session) at 9:30 pm; Saturday at the Sister Bay Stage – Honey & the 45’s at 2 pm; Big Wig Mechanics at 4 pm; Recalcitrant at 6 pm; Whiskey of the Damned at 8 pm; and Unity the Band at 10 pm.
