Also, at the Miller Art Museum on Aug. 17, 10 am – 4 pm, art lovers are invited to the Art, Etc. Sale to search for unique items like original art, prints photography, linens, and toys at bargain prices.
“The variety of sale items makes the experience fun,” said director Bonnie Hartmann. “We have sponsored this event for eight years and it continues to be enjoyable for the community.”
The Art Etc. Sale is a major fundraiser for the Museum. With free admission, the Museum has to find other means of raising funds, relying on memberships, grants, gifts, and fundraisers to maintain Museum operations as a non-profit institution. This year the Museum needs to raise $160,000 for operations.
To donate items, bring items to the Museum from July 29 – Aug. 2 from 10 am – 4 pm. Items are also accepted during the sale.
Located at 107 S 4th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay, Miller Art Museum is open 10 am – 8 pm Monday and 10 am – 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday. For more information call 920.746.0707 or e-mail [email protected].
