The Miller Art Museum will host an artist reception March 3, 5:30-7 pm, with exhibiting artists Robert David Jinkins and Lee Mothes in conjunction with their current exhibitions, Horizon Line and Oceans and Beaches, respectively. Craig Schultz will provide music.
Before the reception, 4-5 pm, museum curator Helen del Guidice will lead a conversation with Jinkins and host an audience Q&A. Both events are free, and light refreshments will be served.

Jinkins’ works – panoramic, rural landscapes depicted in a combination of American regionalism and surrealism – take months to create and illustrate the artist’s reverence for his ancestral land as a Wisconsin native. This is his first major museum exhibition. Horizon Line and Oceans and Beaches are on display through April 3. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
