Miller Art Museum of Door County Calls for Art Submissions

The Miller Art Museum has invited artists 18 years or older to submit up to two pieces in all two-dimensional media for the upcoming 36th Juried Annual Exhibit.

Both emerging and professional artists in northeast Wisconsin have an opportunity to participate in this group exhibit, juried by art professionals.

Works must be original and completed within the last two years and not previously exhibited in Door County. Works may or may not be for sale. The Juried Exhibit will run through November 8. Works may not be removed until the exhibit closes.

Three Special Merit and three Honorable Mention cash awards will be chosen by a panel of jurors. The Gerhard CF Miller Award of Excellence, also a cash award, will be chosen by the MAM staff and given in memory of the museum founder.

The public Opening Reception will be September 17. The exhibit is sponsored, in part, by Baylake Bank and the Townsend Foundation.

The postmark entry deadline is August 15. For more information or to pick up an application entry form call 920.746.0707, email [email protected] or visit http://www.millerartmuseum.org.

Applications may also be picked up at the museum, located at 107 S 4th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. The museum is open Mondays from 10 am – 8 pm and Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am – 5 pm.
