Miller Art Museum of Door County Calls for Entries

The Miller Art Museum (MAM) has invited artists 18 years or older to submit up to two pieces in all two-dimensional media for the upcoming 36th Juried Annual Exhibit. Residents in Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, and Oconto counties are eligible to participate in this overview of art.

Works must be original, completed within the last two years, and not previously exhibited in Door County. The Juried Exhibit will run through November 8.

A panel of jurors will choose three Special Merit and three Honorable Mention winners, who will receive cash awards. The winner of the Gerhard CF Miller Award of Excellence will be selected by the MAM staff, and accompanied by a medallion created by Hermke Timm, Mint Masters, Inc.

The public Opening Reception will take place September 17. All awards will be announced at 5:30 pm. The exhibit is sponsored, in part, by Baylake Bank and the Townsend Foundation. Those interested in sponsoring the exhibit are encouraged to contact the MAM.

The MAM, open Mondays from 10 am – 8 pm and Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm, is located at 107 S 4th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay.
