Miller Wins Hey Hey 5K

Ryan Miller of Fish Creek won the sixth edition of the Hey Hey 5K on Sept. 25, finishing in 19:28. He was 33 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Brady Nieman of Sturgeon Bay, and Eric Biehr of Muskego took third.

Raissa Ashman of Seymour paced the women with a time of 22:46, followed by Gemma Mrozinsky of Sturgeon Bay and Audrey Deyo-Buechler of Egg Harbor.

The day’s youngest finishers were a quartet of 8-year-olds: Hudson Bridenhagen, Niko Bonovich, Griffin Hartel and Salem Duebler.

The top three finishers overall and the top Masters Division (older than 40) winners received gift cards from Door County Brewing Co., and all finishers received a race shirt and pint glass. The event kicked off the 2021 Baileys Harbor AutumnFest celebration.
