Miss Door County Competition Returns Feb. 8

The Miss Door County Scholarship Program will host its annual competition Feb. 8,  4 pm, at the Southern Door Community Auditorium. 

Five contestants – Ava Carmody, Elise Evenson, Amanda Puccini, Gracen Spritka and Chloe Staudenmaier – will compete for the Miss Door County title, currently held by Ashton Spritka

Another five contestants – Alexis Garrett, Kaylee Griep, Lindsay Schuh, Anna Staudenmaier and Natalie Zawojski – will compete to become Miss Door County’s Outstanding Teen, a title currently held by Ellie Krohn. Joining the contestants on stage will be 12 little misses. 

Kimberly Sawyer, who was Miss Wisconsin 2010 and Miss Door County 2008; and her sister Katie Helscher, who was Miss Door County 2009, will emcee the 2020 pageant. Current Miss Wisconsin Alyssa Bohm and additional local title holders will also make appearances. 

Attendees may take part in a raffle at intermission and attend a post-pageant reception in the high school library. Tickets are $16 per person. Purchase them at southerndoorauditorium.org or missdoorcounty.weebly.com.
