Moertl Offers Contemplative Prayer Circle, Life Doula Discussion

Marggie Moertl – an author, inner life coach and life doula – will host a contemplative prayer circle Dec. 5, 6-7 pm. This longstanding monastic tradition is designed to bring groups together to privately explore their commitment to seeking, recognizing and honoring the sacred in their lives.

Participants will use meditation and centering, draw from a variety of readings, engage in quiet contemplation time – silently or by using journals – and seek to awaken a deeper awareness of the Divine in all aspects of life. This nondenominational group is open to all who want to strengthen their inner life.

The cost is $40 per person, and a monthly continuation of this group will be posted in 2022. To register, visit eventbrite.com and search for “Marggie Moertl,” or email [email protected].

In addition, you can meet Moertl during “The Love and Care of a Life Doula” on Dec. 7, 10-11 am, at the ADRC of Door County, 916 N. 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay; or at the Algoma Library, 406 Fremont St., 1-2 pm. Learn about the care and support she provides as a life doula, and discuss concerns and questions about aging or seriously ill loved ones. No registration is required.
