Monarch Tagging Workshop at The Ridges

Learn more about monarchs by participating in a Monarch Tagging Workshop at The Ridges Sanctuary. Attend either Aug. 30 or 31 from 10 – 11:30 am at Marshall Cabin, located at 8288 Hwy Q in Baileys Harbor. This program is appropriate for all ages; however, children should be accompanied by an adult. The program fee is $10/family.

This hands-on workshop will cover the different stages in the monarch’s life cycle, as well as how to raise them from egg to adult. After learning about monarchs, participants will capture and tag as many butterflies as possible in order to track them on their migration routes.
