The next quarterly giving event of the 100+ Women Who Care (100+WWC) Door County giving circle will be held July 18, 6:30-7:30 pm, in person at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center, 7840 Church St. in Egg Harbor, and via livestream. The registration and social time will begin at 5:30 pm.
More than $25,000 will be awarded that evening to three local nonprofits. The three under consideration this quarter are Open Door Pride, Door County Partnership for Children and Families, and the Sister Bay Historical Society. The 100+WWC members who nominated these nonprofits will present information about them.
Women’s Fund representative and 100+WWC member Karen Peterson will also share the impact of the 2021 100+WWC award to the Women’s Fund’s Invest Dream Achieve program, along with general information about the organization.
Special guests for this meeting will be Gibraltar Girl Scout Ambassador Troop 4356, whose members are learning the impact of everyday philanthropy and community service in their troop activities. The Girl Scouts’ cookie sales from the evening will be donated to the event’s nonprofit awards.
