Canvases Now Available for Hardy’s Community Mosaic Project

Now in its ninth year, The Community Mosaic Project, presented in partnership by The Hardy Gallery and the Artists Guild in Sturgeon Bay, has – and continues – to bring together the community to create a visual tapestry of public art at the Hardy’s iconic facility in Ephraim. This year’s project will be on display from July 22 – August 21, 2016.

The organization is seeking submissions of original artwork from the community. Any individual in the community, artists (recreational or professional), students, or art enthusiasts are invited to submit work in any medium. Past submissions have included photography, three-dimensional and sculptural work, assemblages, fiber work, painting, writing, and collaborative works. Free six-by-six canvases for the project are available throughout the county at the Artists Guild (Sturgeon Bay) and the Hardy Gallery office (Ephraim). Deadline for submissions is July 10, 2016.
