Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille Takes Home 1st Place at Rib Fest

Neighbor to Neighbor hosted its eighth annual Rib Fest on Nov. 12 at The Lodge at Leathem Smith. The event featured nine local chefs representing Casey’s BBQ & Smokehouse, Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille, The Lodge at Leathem Smith, Door County Fire Company, Julie’s Park Café & Motel, Jeff’s Sports Bar & Grill, Young Automotive Pit Crew, Door County Hardware Team, and the Bayside Home Medical Team. The crowd tasted an assortment of ribs, baked beans and coleslaw donated by Tadych’s Econofoods, and homemade desserts, which culminated in them voting for their favorite ribs.

It was a tight race this year, with only one vote separating the first and second place winners. Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille took home the first place trophy again this year, with the Young Automotive Pit Crew tightly following in second place. A few votes behind, newcomer Bayside Home Medical Team took the third place slot. All proceeds go to support Neighbor to Neighbor programming.
