Mr. G’s Team Wins at Rib Fest

Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County held their seventh annual Door County Rib Fest on Nov. 7 at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Those in attendance tasted an assortment of ribs prepared and donated by local chefs, baked beans and coleslaw donated by Tadych’s Econo Foods, and homemade desserts. They then voted for their favorite ribs.

Chefs participating at the event included: Casey’s BBQ & Smokehouse, Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille, Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club, The Lodge at Leathem Smith, Door County Fire Company, the Langgut Divine Swine Team, Door County Hardware Team, and the Par ‘O Chefs Team. Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille took home the First Place trophy, Casey’s BBQ & Smokehouse took Second Place, and the Door County Hardware Team took Third Place. All proceeds from this event go to support Neighbor to Neighbor programming.
