Multiple Book Signings for Baileys Harbor Children’s Book Author

Baileys Harbor author Sue Jarosh (doorcountypolarbearpress.com) has released her fourth book, Madelyn’s Magical Door County Balloon. It’s the result of her Jacksonport shop serving as the longtime site for Jacksonport tourist information. Many families stopped in to ask, “What are some things to do and places to go for families with young children?”

Madelyn’s Magical Door County Balloon is a fun, rhyming children’s book with more than 140 photos highlighting 30-plus locations in Door County. Pictures speak a thousand words and also teach pre-readers. The story is told through the dream of a child who is excitedly waiting for her family to leave for their Door County vacation.

Book signings will be held Oct. 5, 11 am – 2 pm, at the Tannenbaum Holiday Shop in Sister Bay; Oct. 5, 2:30-4:30 pm, at Simply Scandinavian at the Gills Rock dock; Oct. 10-13, at the Amish Quilt Show and Sale at Mr. G’s in Jacksonport; Oct. 12, 10 am – 1 pm, at the BookNook Gardens in Egg Harbor; Oct. 12, 1-5 pm, at the Edgewood Orchard Galleries in Fish Creek; Oct. 13, 10 am – 12 pm, at Door County Kids in Egg Harbor; Oct. 13, 12-4 pm, at BookNook Gardens; and Oct. 18-20 during Sister Bay’s Fall Fest.Jarosh’s books are also available at some Door County shops.
