Municipal Meetings: April 13 – 20

DOOR COUNTY

City of Sturgeon Bay:  The common council meets at noon on April 17.

County of Door:  The Law Enforcement Committee meets at 10:30 am April 16. The Finance Committee meets at 1 pm April 16. The Administrative Committee meets at 3 pm April 16. The Library Board meets at 5 pm April 16. The county board meets at 9 am April 17. The Ad Hoc Sister City Committee meets at 8:30 am April 19.

Town of Baileys Harbor:  The annual meeting will be held at 7 pm April 17.

Town of Brussels:  The annual meeting takes place at 7 pm April 17.

Town of Egg Harbor:  The town board meets April 16 at 7 pm.

Town of Forestville:  The town board meets at 7 pm April 17.

Town of Gardner:  The annual meeting will be held at 6 pm April 17.

Town of Gibraltar:  The Parks and Lands Committee meets at 8 am April 17. The Harbor Commission meets at 7:30 am April 18. The Airport Commission meets at 9 am April 19.

Town of Jacksonport:  The annual meeting will be held at 7 pm April 17.

Town of Liberty Grove:  The annual meeting will be held 7 pm April 17. The town board meets at 7 pm April 18.

Town of Sevastopol:  Residents are invited to the annual town meeting on Tuesday, April 17, beginning at 6 pm at the town hall in Institute. The meeting will kick off with an informal meet and greet of electors, officers and guests. The 2017 financial statements will be available, as prepared and audited by Schenck SC. The annual 2017 fire report will be presented and explained by Sturgeon Bay Fire Chief Tim Dietman. The town contracts with the City of Sturgeon Bay to provide fire protection and the report provides information on types of calls, response times and other services provided by the fire department. The town recently joined Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission to assist with updating its comprehensive plan. Brandon Robinson from Bay-Lake will provide an overview on the services available to its members, plus other resources that could be of benefit to our community. Suggestions and concerns can be brought forward for discussion, plus there will be updates on current projects and committee happenings. Town of Sturgeon Bay:  An open book session will be held from 8 to 10 am on April 23. The annual meeting will be held at 7 pm April 23. Speakers will be on hand to talk about invasive species.

Town of Union:  The annual meeting will be held at 7 am April 17, followed by the monthly town board meeting.

Village of Egg Harbor:  The Utility Committee meets at 11 am April 17.

Village of Forestville:  The Planning Commission meets April 17 at 5:30, followed by the village board at 6 pm.

Village of Sister Bay:  The village board meets at 6 pm April 17. The Marina Fest Committee meets at 6 pm April 19.

KEWAUNEE COUNTY

City of Algoma:  The Library Board meets at 4 pm April 16. The Community Development Committee meets at 6 pm April 16. The Marina Committee meets at 5:30 pm April 17. The Utility Commission meets at 5 pm April 18, followed by the Cable Committee at 5:30 pm. The Finance/Personnel Committee meets at 8:30 am April 19.

City of Kewaunee:  The Public Library Board meets at 4:30 pm April 18.

County of Kewaunee:  The Kewaunee County Economic Development Corp. meets at 9 am April 19. The Human Services Committee meets at 8:30 am April 19.

Town of Lincoln:  The annual meeting will be held at 7 pm April 17.

Town of Montpelier:  The annual meeting will be held at 7 pm April 17. The town board meets at 6:30 pm April 18.

Town of Red River:  The annual meeting will be held at 7 pm April 17, followed by the monthly town board meeting.
