City of Sturgeon Bay:  The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the council chambers at noon on Sept. 23 regarding a variance for a deck at 1635 Cove Road.

Town of Baileys Harbor:  Mike LeClair resigned his position as a member of the town’s Marina Committee. Richard Weisgerber, who had been serving as an alternate on the committee, was appointed to replace LeClair.

Town of Forestville:  The town board meets at 7 pm on Sept. 23.

Town of Jacksonport:  The town board meets at 7 pm on Sept. 23.

Town of Liberty Grove:  All residents, business owners or operators and owners of property in the Village of Sister Bay and the Town of Liberty Grove are encouraged to participate in a shredding/appliance recycling day on Sept. 20. There will be no charge to have documents securely shredded or to recycle most computer components and small household appliances, but fees of up to $15 could be charged to recycle refrigerators, computer monitors and microwaves, or any other items that have a compressor or a screen. All shredded materials and appliances will be recycled. Any documents, appliances and computer components should be brought to the parking lot at the Liberty Grove Town Hall, 11161 Old Stage Road, between 9 am and 1 pm. Before large items will be placed on the truck, any and all recycling fees must be paid. Due to overwhelming response in the past, only residents of Sister Bay/Liberty Grove will be allowed to participate in this program.

Town of Sevastopol:  The Plan Commission meets at 7 pm on Sept. 24.

Village of Egg Harbor:  The Plan Commission meets at noon on Sept. 23. The Harbor Committee meets at 10 am on Sept. 24.

Village of Sister Bay:  The Finance Committee meets at 2 pm on Sept. 23. The Plan Commission meets at 5:30 pm.
