City of Sturgeon Bay:  The Plan Commission will meet at 3 pm on Jan. 12 for a presentation on the Egg Harbor Road corridor planning and design.

Town of Egg Harbor:  The Plan Commission meets at 6 pm on Jan. 12.

Town of Jacksonport:  The Fire Advisory Committee meets at 7 pm on Jan. 12.

Town of Liberty Grove:  The Highway Committee meets at 8 am on Jan. 12. The Parks & Property Committee meets at 8 am on Jan. 13. The Plan Commission meets at 7 pm on Jan. 14.

Village of Egg Harbor:  The Public Art Committee meets at 8 am on Jan. 12. The town board meets at 6 pm on Jan. 12.

Village of Forestville:  The winter parking ban is in effect through April 1, 2015. On-street parking is prohibited from 2 to 6 am.

Village of Sister Bay:  The Marina Committee meets at 2 pm on Jan. 13.

The Village’s Maintenance Department employees will again conduct a free Christmas tree pick-up for village residents and business owners. Weather permitting, the remaining pick-up day is Monday, Jan. 12; trees must be placed curbside on Sunday, Jan. 11. All lights, ornaments and other decorations must be removed from the trees. Artificial trees, any and all wreaths, or live trees with lights or ornaments left on will not be picked up. The Village is also recycling Christmas lights. A collection barrel has been placed by the Village Hall, 10693 N. Bay Shore Drive, lights can be deposited there at any time. You do not have to be a Village resident to recycle lights, and no fees will be charged. For more information call 920.854.4118.
