City of Sturgeon Bay:  The grand opening for the Sturgeon Bay Skatepark will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, June 13. The common council meets at noon on June 16.

Town of Baileys Harbor:  The town recently decided to proceed with applying for a visit from the UW-Extension Design Team to do a workshop with the town. If selected, a team of experts (architects, landscape architects, engineers, scientists, etc.) will come in, analyze problems that the community feel need to be addressed, give suggestions, and provide drawings, plans, etc. to execute these ideas. The workshop brings an in-kind value of more than $100,000 for only $5,000. The proposed dates of the visit are Nov. 5-7, 2015. A Q&A session is being held at 6 pm on June 17 in the lower level meeting area at Baileys Harbor Town Hall. The town is sponsoring its annual paper shredding on June 27, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Baileys Harbor Recreation Park on Summit Road. The event will be at the same time as the bimonthly recycling and is free to the public.

Town of Egg Harbor:  The town board meets at 7 pm on June 15.

Town of Liberty Grove:  The town board meets at 7 pm on June 17.

Town of Union:  The town board meets at 6:30 pm on June 16.

Village of Egg Harbor:  The Utility Committee meets at 10 am on June 17.

Village of Forestville:  The village is holding a Flag Day Celebration on Saturday, June 13, hosted by the Forestville American Legion, with a focus on honoring women veterans. A parade will be held at 11 am, which will be followed by music by the John Welch Duo, a kickball tournament and food and refreshments at Legion Memorial Park. Village of Sister Bay:  The Marketing Committee meets at 3 pm on June 16. Board of Review will be held at 5 pm on June 16. The village board meets at 7 pm on June 16.
