City of Sturgeon Bay:  Finance and Purchasing & Building Committees meet at 4 pm on July 14.

County of Door:  The Finance Committee meets at 2 pm on July 13. The Board of Health meets at 4 pm on July 13. The County Board welcomes representatives from the sister city of Jingdezhen, China, at 8:15 am on July 14. The Board of Adjustment meets at 6:30 pm on July 14. The Law Enforcement Committee meets at the Justice Center at 8:30 am on July 15. The Human Service Board meets at 4 pm on July 15. The Senior Services Advisory Committee & Nutrition Advisory Council meets at the DC Senior Resource Center, 832 N. 14th Ave., Sturgeon Bay, at 10 am on July 16. The Resource Planning Committee meets at 3 pm on July 16.

Town of Baileys Harbor:  The town’s application to be visited for three days in early November by members of the University of Wisconsin-Extension Design Team has been accepted. The town was required to submit the application with letters of support from the community and a commitment of $5,000 to pay for travel expenses for as many as 20 members of the team. The town also had to commit to housing the team in area homes and feeding the team while they are here. In return, the town will receive planning information that is valued at $100,000 to $200,000.

Town of Egg Harbor:  The Plan Commission meets at 6 pm on July 13. The Joint Fire Commission (town and village) meets at 7 pm on July 16.

Town of Jacksonport:  The Fire Advisory Committee meets at 7 pm on July 13.

Town of Liberty Grove:  The Highway Committee meets at 8 am on July 13. The Parks & Property Committee meets at 8 am on July 14. The town board meets at 7 pm on July 15.

Village of Egg Harbor:  The Public Art Committee meets at 8 am on July 13. The Village Board meets at 6 pm on July 13. The Utility Committee meets at 10 am on July 15.

Village of Ephraim:  A public hearing on an ordinance change will held at 7 pm on July 14.

Village of Forestville:  Due to a vacancy on the Forestville Village Board effective June 23, village residents have the opportunity to submit trustee appointment applications for the village board to review at its July 21, 2015, meeting. The appointment will expire in April 2016, at which time the appointee will be eligible to run for this seat on the spring election ballot. Submit an application to Forestville Village Clerk Mary Ann Salmon, PO Box 6, Forestville, Wis., 54213, or by dropping the application off at the village office, or via email to [email protected].
