‘Muskie Love’: Northern Sky’s Fall Feature

Northern Sky’s Fall Season features the musical comedy Muskie Love, playing Aug. 31 – Oct. 20 at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek.
Premiering in 2004, Muskie Love was the first collaboration by the now veteran writing team of Dave Hudson and Paul Libman. Muskie Love is set on the shores of Green Bay and follows the exploits of Ben and Bea, rival fishing guides in Door County.
“Muskie Love is back and that means DNR Doug will be on the prowl,” said Artistic Director Jeff Herbst, regarding the show’s most memorable character. “With good-humored digs at our ‘Illinipution’ neighbors to the south, Muskie Love remains a Northern Sky fan favorite.”
Muskie Love features veteran company members Jeff Herbst, Doug Mancheski, Chase Stoeger and Molly Rhode, and newcomers Doug Clemons and Nadja Simmonds. Pam Kriger returns as director. Tim Lenihan provides musical direction with Alissa Rhode on keyboard and Dennis Johnson on bass.
Tickets are now on sale in the Northern Sky box office at the Green Gables shops in north Ephraim, by calling 920.854.6117 and online at NorthernSkyTheater.com. Tickets are $30 for adults, $18 for students, and $14 for children.
Muskie Love features a Packers-friendly schedule and plays Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 4 pm and 8 pm, with three Monday 7:30 pm performances on Sept. 24, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8. Check the performance calendar online for schedule variations.
