myTEAM TRIUMPH to Run Half Marathon

While hundreds of runners take to the roads of Peninsula State Park at the Door County Half Marathon (doorcountyhalfmarathon.com) for a variety of different reasons, the teams running for myTEAM TRIUMPH-WI will run for one purpose: to embrace, celebrate and empower people with diverse abilities.

Each myTEAM TRIUMPH (mTT) team running will consist of one challenged athlete (Captain) and a team of three able-bodied athletes (Angels). Using specialized racing equipment, they will work together to cross the finish line; the Captain providing the inspiration, the Angels providing the physicality. There will be seven Captains and 16 Angels running in the 2017 Door County Half Marathon.

myTEAM TRIUMPH-WI is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), organization that is currently serving 520 Captains and has 1,600 volunteers and will compete in 32 major events around the state this season.
