“Facing Medusa” by Helen Klebesadel. Submitted.
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County’s next exhibit, Social Patterns and Other Myths: Watercolors by Helen Klebesadel, is on display Aug. 8 – Oct. 1. Klebesadel – a teacher and nationally known artist from Madison – has an impressive list of achievements and exhibitions.
“I am fascinated by how our myths and stories teach us how we are supposed to act and interact and what is expected of us,” she said of this painting collection. “I seek to understand the old myths and find the new ones as we create new social patterns to live by.”
