Namur Belgian Heritage Foundation Sponsors Waffle Breakfast

Diners at the Father’s Day waffle breakfast are invited to donate a historical photo from the Belgian community, such as this photo of the Marcellin and Catherine Baudhuin home near Namur circa 1910, to receive a dollar off breakfast.

The Namur Belgian Heritage Foundation will sponsor a Father’s Day waffle breakfast on June 17 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Belgian Heritage Center. The “all you can eat” breakfast includes waffles, trippe (a Belgian sausage), eggs, potatoes and a beverage.

In an effort to preserve Belgian-American culture, the public is invited to donate a historic photograph from the Belgian community and receive a dollar off the breakfast price.

The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children, and kids under three are free.
