National Airbrush Artist Appears in Door County

Jerry Gadamus, nationally known airbrush artist, will make an appearance at A Decorator’s Gallery on Saturday, October 9, from 10 am – 4 pm.

Gadamus is recognized internationally for the way he achieves unbelievable detail with his airbrush. The technique he uses is called “free-hand airbrushing,” which is done without the aid of stencils or paintbrush. It contributes to a painting style that personifies his acclaimed reputation as an outdoor painter. He has won countless awards for his paintings and his work is a familiar sight at many wildlife fund-raising auctions.

Gadamus graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Wisconsin. He makes his home in the countryside near Stevens Point, Wisconsin with his wife where he continues to enjoy painting in the wilderness.

While at A Decorator’s Gallery, Jerry will personalize any limited edition lithograph purchased with a pencil remarque. Artists will normally charge from $125 to $250 for a remarque. Jerry will have numerous originals on display.
