National Novena Oct. 1-9 at Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help

Nine days of reflection and prayer will bring hundreds of pilgrims to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help Oct. 1-9 during the National Novena to Our Lady of Good Help. This year marks the 160th anniversary of Mother Mary appearing to Adele Brise in Champion.

Relics of St. Padre Pio will be at the shrine Oct. 2-4, and each day will feature a guest speaker. An Oct. 4 gala at Riverside Ballroom (tickets are $25 per person) will support the shrine and St. Gianna Clinic in Green Bay. Patrick Madrid of Relevant Radio will be the featured speaker.

The Apparition Day mass, celebrated by The Most Rev. David Ricken, bishop of Green Bay, will take place at 11 am, followed by the Anointing of the Sick. Those who cannot be at shrine may sign up to receive daily prayers by email. To learn more, visit ShrineOfOurLadyOfGoodHelp.com.
