For centuries, the Catholic Church has celebrated May as the Month of Mary and the tradition continues this May at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion. It all begins with the Walk to Mary pilgrimage on May 6. The fifth annual event starts at the National Shrine of St. Joseph on the St. Norbert College campus, goes through De Pere, Allouez, Green Bay and the UW-Green Bay campus before ending at the Champion Shrine. The 21-mile walk benefits Catholic education for youth. The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help is located at 4047 Chapel Drive in Champion. For more information visit walktomary.com.
