National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help Opens New Hall

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help will be able to welcome more visitors following the blessing and dedication of the new Mother of Mercy Hall on April 28. The public is invited to the first mass and blessing and to hear guest speaker Drew Mariani, a Catholic radio host on Relevant Radio.

“As we celebrate the 160th anniversary of the Apparition, the addition of Mother of Mercy Hall will help us better accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims who make the trek to Champion Shrine,” said Don Warden, chief operations officer.

The hall seats up to 1,200 people for mass or conference gatherings, and the main hall can be divided into smaller gathering spaces. It also has a pilgrimage-coordination area, first-aid station and kitchenette.
