Nature of Door County Byway Tour on July 20

The Door County Coastal Byway is a Wisconsin Scenic Byway that stretches over 66 miles as it loops through the beautiful Door Peninsula.

Beginning just north of Sturgeon Bay, the Byway offers abundant opportunity for bird watching, post-card quality scenery, fascinating cultural history and accessible natural geologic features. One of the best ways to explore its natural wonders is with the Nature of Door County Byway Tour on July 20, led by Ridges naturalist Karen Newbern and well-known Door County naturalist Paul Regnier.

The full-day outing departs at 8:30 am from The Ridges Marshall Cabin, 8288 Hwy Q in Baileys Harbor and will conclude at 3:30 pm. Newbern and Regnier will focus on the unique natural and cultural highlights of the county along the tour route. The fee for the full-day tour is $55 for Ridges members, $70 for the general public and includes transportation. Participants should bring lunch and drinks.
