NDCC Announces Holiday Home Tour Homes

This year the annual Holiday Home Tour on Thanksgiving weekend to benefit Northern Door Children’s Center has a definite theme. All the homes are distinctive log homes, waterfront homes, or both, and decked out for the holidays.

Five local homeowners and a historic church have generously offered their properties. Featured on the tour this year: the Hantke/Gieseler log home in Ellison Bay; the Andersen’s log retreat in Fish Creek; the Andersen’s historic log cabin on Kangaroo Lake in Baileys Harbor; “The Omelet” six-bedroom family vacation home on the shore of Green Bay in Egg Harbor; and the Hubbard family’s “Come On Inn” Waterfront Vacation Home in Carlsville, the first Door County vacation house to be Green Travel Certified.

Sister Bay First Baptist Church, founded in 1877, is the site of the Holiday Home Tour Bake Shoppe again this year. Guests can purchase homemade baked goods and view traditional Christmas decorations.

Tours are offered Nov. 28 from 4 to 8 pm and Nov. 29 from 10 am to 4 pm. Tickets cost $30 and are available through Nov. 26. Tickets may be purchased on the days of the event for $35 at Sister Bay First Baptist Church, 2622 South Bay Shore Dr. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 920.854.4244 or email [email protected].
