NDCC Seeking Scholarship Funds

Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) recently put out a call to the community for much needed scholarship funds. In response, the Billy Weiss Post No. 527 of the American Legion in Sister Bay generously donated $1,000. Former NDCC Board President Garey Bies and Bill Becker, grandfather of two NDCC graduates, presented the check to Executive Director Cindy-Trinkner Peot on Aug. 7.

NDCC is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization serving the early care and education needs of young children and families. As the only licensed group center in northern Door County, NDCC serves children ages six weeks-10 years. This year there has been an extra need for scholarships to help some families supplement the cost of services.
