Neighbor to Neighbor Celebrates Achievements on May 28

Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) will celebrate its achievements at its annual meeting on May 28, 5 pm, in the Door County Community Foundation’s Rock Island Meeting Room. Those achievements include helping 1,452 individuals in 2018 to save more than $400,000 in medical expenses by using N2N’s services. More than 100 volunteers donated 2,374 hours to facilitate medical-equipment loans, maintain equipment, serve as peer companions, provide respite care for family caregivers, staff the office, serve on the board and assist with special events.

“We are able to serve the community because of the dedicated, caring individuals who share their time and talents through their volunteer service with Neighbor to Neighbor,” said N2N Director Ann Bennett. “Without them, we couldn’t have this kind of impact on the community.”The annual meeting’s agenda includes volunteer awards, program and agency updates and the financial report. The regular monthly board meeting will immediately follow.
