Neighbor to Neighbor Receives P.E.O. Grant

The Wisconsin P.E.O. Sisterhood H.E.L.P. (Helping Everyone Live Purposefully) Fund has awarded a Sarah Shinn Marshall Fund Grant to Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County. The grant was given to support their Medical Equipment Loan Program through the purchase of durable medical equipment in bariatric sizes to accommodate individuals weighing up to 500 lbs. Neighbor to Neighbor provides short-term medical equipment loans for people of all ages, peer companions for homebound elderly individuals, respite care for family caregivers, and the Lemonade Club – a cancer survivor/patient support group.
