Neighbor-to-Neighbor Sets Rib Fest for Nov. 2

Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County is holding its fifth annual Rib Fest on Nov. 2 at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Doors open at 4:30 pm for cash bar and silent auction, with serving from 5:30 – 7 pm or until ribs are gone. The night’s fare will include samples of each chef’s ribs, baked beans & coleslaw donated by Tadych’s Econo Foods, desserts and coffee. The event also includes Ken-Ya-Sing DJ Service, a silent auction and raffles. Tasters will vote for their favorite ribs in the professional and amateur categories.

Participating in this year’s event in the professional category are: Pelletier’s Restaurant & Fish Boil, Casey’s BBQ & Smokehouse, Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club, The Cabin Restaurant, The Lodge at Leathem Smith, and Julie’s Park Café and Motel. The amateur division includes: Rob Burke, Paul Forsch and Mark Langgut.

There are a limited number of tickets available – purchase of tickets in advance is strongly encouraged. Tickets are $18 per person and are available by calling 920.743.7800. Tickets will be sold at the door the night of the event, if still available. All proceeds support Neighbor-to-Neighbor.
