Neighbor to Neighbor’s Rib Fest is Nov. 9

Culver’s hosted a fundraiser to benefit Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) on Sept. 10, when N2N volunteers assisted at the restaurant. Between the amount Culver’s donated and what diners added, the event raised $527.37.

N2N is also holding its 11th annual Rib Fest on Nov. 9 at The Lodge at Leathem Smith. Doors will open at 4:30 pm for a cash bar and silent auction; serving will run 5:30-7 pm or until the ribs are gone. Enjoy samples of each chef’s ribs, baked beans and coleslaw donated by Tadych’s Econo Foods, desserts and coffee. Tasters may vote for their favorite ribs, participate in raffles of items from local businesses and individuals, and enjoy music and karaoke by Ken-Ya-Sing DJ Service beginning at 6:30 pm. 

Participating rib masters are Casey’s BBQ and Smokehouse, The Lodge at Leathem Smith, Carrington Pub and Grill, the Door County Hardware Team, Julie’s Park Café and Motel, and Waterfront Mary’s.Advance ticket purchases – $20 per person – are encouraged because a limited number of tickets will be available.
