Nelsons’ Photography Returns to Door County Art Fairs

For the fifth consecutive year, award-winning photographers Greg and Lynn Nelson are returning to display and sell their photographs at many Door County art fairs. In addition to over a hundred contemporary views of the Door County area, they have many historical photos dating back 25 to 30 years.

The Nelsons’ schedule includes Olde Ellison Bay Days from June 28 – 29, July 4th Fest in Baileys Harbor, Art on the Quiet Side in Jacksonport from July 5 – 6, Liberty Grove Historical Society Art and Craft Fair in Ellison Bay on July 19 – 20, Cherryfest in Jacksonport on August 2, and Autumnfest in Baileys Harbor on September 20.

“We specialize in photographing Door County,” said Greg Nelson. “Although we live in the Chicago area, we have visited the county many times each year for thirty years. Lynn and I both do the photography. We have a shared, loving vision of what makes the county such an extraordinary place, which we try to express through our work.”

The Nelsons’ photography is currently included in the Hardy Gallery’s 46th Annual Juried Exhibition in Ephraim. They also have several photos in the Nature Conservancy’s, “Earth, Sky, Water: Wisconsin’s Special Places,” juried exhibit which has been touring the state since 2006.
