New and Familiar Acts in Peg Egan Summer Concert Series Lineup

The Peg Egan Performing Arts Center announces a crowd-pleasing line-up of nationally acclaimed artists for its 2015 Summer Concert Series.

Performing on the center’s stage will be WIFEE and the HUZzBAND, Janet Planet Jazz Trio, Jimmy LaFave Band, The Hunts, Late Night Catechism, Switchback, The Nylons, Dailey & Vincent, The Oak Ridge Boys and Tab Benoit.

Located in Eames Cherry View Park in Egg Harbor, the outdoor amphitheater offers sweeping views of scenic landscape and sunset over the harbor and has ground room for 2,000 visitors; bringing blankets or lawn chairs is recommended. The Egan Center’s series offers Door County visitors and residents a chance to enjoy warm summer nights filled with brilliant music.

Bruce Hill, Village Board trustee, is excited for this year’s series. He said, “We believe the Peg Egan PAC adds another layer of artistic excellence in the county and brings people to spend the afternoon or the weekend here. The confluence of room tax revenue, local sponsorships and this beautiful performance venue means that we can offer these programs free of charge.”

The 2015 concert dates are as follows: June 21 – WIFEE and the HUZzBand, June 28 – Janet Planet Jazz Trio, July 5 – Jimmy LaFave Band, July 12 – The Hunts, July 19 – Late Night Catechism, July 26 – Switchback, Aug. 2 – Dailey & Vincent, Aug. 9 – The Oak Ridge Boys, and Aug. 16 – Tab Benoit.
