New Artist at Bazyli Studio

Bazyli Studio Wearable Art in Baileys Harbor is a destination gallery in a garden setting, featuring one-of-a-kind clothing designs by fiber artist/designer Peter Ciesla, and the collaborative contemporary jewelry design by Peter and Skye. In addition, the gallery features artists and designers from Wisconsin, Florida and the East Coast.

This month’s featured artist is Tatiana Palnitska of Sarasota, Fla. Each of her pieces is painstakingly crafted by hand with an emphasis on texture, fluidity and self-expression. The work is hand-dyed and built in layers, as a one-of-a-kind painting would be. Palnitska’s background in the visual arts and music expresses itself in her spontaneous and meticulous construction techniques. She said, “Each day is an inspired journey into the unknown – the infamous ‘blank canvas’ and each piece is completely unique, edition one of one in art terms, never repeated, so each will speak to a person in a secret language understandable only to the two of them until they meet.”
