New Artists at Linden Gallery

This year Uncork Summer has even more to offer than wine, food and music. Jewelry, fine art and women’s fashion also headline at Linden Gallery in Ellison Bay. The gallery, now in its 22nd year, is featuring trunk shows and demonstrations from 1 to 7 pm by artists who are new to the Door County scene.

Artist Theresa Wangia, founder of Beltshazzar Jewels, shows an exquisite assortment of Nomadic Beauty handmade jewelry and leather accessories inspired by her global travels and Blackfoot Indian roots.

Bettina Madini creates paintings in watercolors, acrylics, oils and pastels on paper, canvas and silks. Her trunk show contains work that crosses many mediums from stunning silk painted scarves and banners to yoga pants and active wear dresses. Madini will demonstrate her silk painting technique at the gallery throughout the day.

Linden Gallery is like a museum store, with furniture, fine art, antiquities, ceramics, clothing, jewelry and other wonderments, primarily from Asia. Children are welcome to explore and learn about faraway cultures.

The gallery is located on Highway 42 and Mink River Road just a country block from the Uncork Summer grounds at Wickman House. Along with many other Ellison Bay businesses, they will stay open late, until 7 pm on June 23. For more information call 920.854.2487.
