New Capture Door County Photo Book Now Available

The Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB) announces the release of their newest Capture Door County fine art photography book, Seasons Behind The Door. This 144-page book features more than 230 photographs of Door County. The hardbound coffee table book is the result of the popular Capture Door County photo contest, which the DCVB started in January 2013.

From those images, CaptureDoorCounty.com contest users voted for their top choices and the most popular images rose to the top and ultimately made it into the book. In total, 232 photographs are part of the Capture Door County Seasons Behind The Door book.

“We are thrilled with how the book turned out,” said Jon Jarosh, DCVB’s director of communications and PR, and administrator of the Capture Door County contest. “There were some incredible photos submitted, and the 3,700 plus users who voted more than 120,000 times for their favorites were instrumental in shaping what the finished book looks like.”

Seasons Behind The Door is available for sale at CaptureDoorCounty.com and at the DCVB Welcome Center, 1015 Green Bay Road in Sturgeon Bay.

The Capture Door County photo contest is an ongoing initiative. Participation in the contest is free and open to both visitors and residents. Users are not required to submit their own photos in order to view or vote for their favorites. For more information visit CaptureDoorCounty.com.
