New CEO at The Boys & Girls Club of Door County

The Boys & Girls Club of Door County has hired Brian Stezenski-Williams as its new CEO. He began in spring 2019 as the organization’s interim CEO and quickly decided to seek the permanent position.

“Brian is the perfect fit for our team and has shown his true commitment and dedication to the Boys & Girls Club mission,” said Fran Shefchik, the organization’s board chair. “We are thrilled to see where this new leadership takes us next.” 

Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Club, Stezenski-Williams served as the executive director of the Boys & Girls Club in Wausau, which he helped to launch and run from 1995 to 2018. He has led multi-million-dollar capital, major-gift and annual campaigns. He holds a doctorate in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has completed extensive leadership training through Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
