New Clubhouse Opens at The Orchards

A ribbon cutting ceremony took place Thursday, May 15 to celebrate the completion of the new clubhouse, restaurant and bar at The Orchards in Egg Harbor, an 18-hole championship golf course.

After a fire destroyed the former clubhouse/restaurant and bar in late summer of 2007, the course continued to operate out of a temporary structure the rest of the season. Through the winter, The Orchards contracted local companies Marc Isaksen Design, LLC to design and PortSide Builders, Inc. to build the new 7,513 sq. ft. facility.

The new facility will offer a fully stocked pro shop, men’s and women’s locker rooms and shower facilities, as well as a full service bar and grill with space for banquets. Other new amenities include Wi-Fi and meeting rooms and work areas.

The Orchards is located at 8125 Heritage Lake Rd. in Egg Harbor.
