New Door County Mystery Series

Author Patricia Skalka appears in two special events in Door County for her recently published mystery novel, Death Stalks Door County. The events are co-sponsored by The Friends of Door County Libraries, the Peninsula Bookman, and Write On, Door County.

A reading and discussion will take place on May 30, 7 pm, at the Miller Art Museum, 107 S. 4th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. A conversation with the author takes place on May 31, 4 pm, at the Peninsula Bookman, 4083 Main Street, Fish Creek. Both events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Death Stalks Door County pits Dave Cubiak, a former Chicago homicide detective and newly hired Door County park ranger, against a clever killer. Cubiak uncovers a tangled web of greed, betrayal, bitter rivalries, and lost love. Death Stalks Door County, published by Terrace Books/University of Wisconsin Press, introduces the Dave Cubiak Door County Mysteries.
